Class B

Built by hand in Spain between 1980 and 1984, ATYLA is one of the very few handmade wooden-hulled Tall Ships in the world that is still in operation. "

She was designed with the intention of circumnavigating the earth following the Magellan–Elcano route before becoming a training ship. Although that trip was never undertaken, she spent the next 30 years sailing in Spanish waters before being dedicated to sail training.

Operators ATYLA International Training Ship Foundation" is a not-for-profit organisation registered in Spain and the ship is still owned and operated by the same family who built her.
