With great road and rail links, a direct Metro rail connection from Newcastle International Airport taking you to the city centre within an hour, and a sea port minutes from open water, Sunderland is easily accessible however you choose to travel.

Go North East bus service 33 will be running additional services from Park Lane Interchange to Hendon during the event https://www.gonortheast.co.uk/timesfares/33

If you live within walking distance of one of the Park and Ride sites, you can travel to the event on a Park and Ride bus, but without parking your car. It's £4 per person.

From Sunderland Station it is approximately 15 minutes to walk to Event Zones A and B. Volunteers and signage will direct visitors.

The closest Metro Station to Zones A and B is Sunderland. From Sunderland Station it is approximately 15 minutes to walk to Event Zones A and B. Volunteers and signage will direct visitors.

The closest Metro Station to Zone C is St Peter's. It is a 5 minute walk to St Peter's Riverside from there.

The closest Metro Station to Zone D is Seaburn. It is a 15 minute walk to the seafront from there.

Additional Metro services will be running during the event.
